Body-Centred Psychotherapy
A mindful, body-based approach to uncovering and transforming unconscious patterns
What is Body-Centred Psychotherapy?
Body-centred psychotherapy sessions are based on the Hakomi method. Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy is a gentle yet powerful approach that works with the body to access unconscious beliefs, emotional imprints, and behavioural patterns that shape how we experience life. This work invites deep presence, where healing unfolds through awareness rather than effort.
Rather than analysing or fixing, we bring mindful attention to what is arising in the moment through sensation, movement, images, emotion, and felt meaning. The body becomes our entry point for inquiry, allowing space for what has been held — often for years — to be seen, felt, and integrated.
This is a collaborative process grounded in safety, curiosity, and respect for your pace. It is not about revisiting old stories, but about allowing unconscious beliefs that are no longer supportive to come into awareness, opening the way for greater freedom, authenticity, and ease.
