The True Meaning Empowerment

It is a common mistake to externalise our sense of purpose and meaning onto external circumstances.

Many of us hold the unconscious belief that real fulfilment comes from what we do, how successful we are, our financial situation, the state of our health, the quality of our relationships, and so on. Not that these things are not important, they absolutely are. But they can’t give us the real sense of long lasting satisfaction, purpose and freedom that we so, deep down, crave.

In order to feel truly happy and find meaning in our life, we must drop the attachment towards the external world and come back home to the simplicity of our being. From this beingness, life unfolds authentically and freely, with no expectations or dependency on the external circumstances - that is true empowerment. When this happens, a real sense of ease calm, ease and groundedness remains. Life can then unfold from a place of non-clinging or attachment.

It is only by coming home to our embodied experience in each moment that we can find our true sense of purpose, empowerment and belonging in this world.
