The Clear Seeing day retreat is an invitation to slow down, soften, and reconnect with your true nature, using the body as a vehicle for awakening.
This day offers a gentle introduction to the core teachings of the Buddha and the heart of insight meditation. Through slowing down and turning towards direct experience, we begin to cultivate the capacity to see clearly into the nature of mind, body, and life itself. Insight (vipassanā) means “clear seeing” — a deep, embodied understanding that arises through mindful presence.
Together, we will explore how embodied awareness can become a doorway to freedom, wisdom, and inner steadiness. Practising in community (sangha) supports this unfolding and offers a field of safety, resonance, and shared inquiry.
The retreat will include:
Guided meditation
Silent and Walking meditation
Dharma teaching
Gentle Mindful Movement
TRE® (Tension & Trauma Release Exercises)
Relational inquiry and mindful listening / speaking
This retreat is suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
