Tension and Trauma Release Exercises (TRE®) Online Class

I’m delighted to invite you to my next Tension and Trauma Release TRE® online class on Friday 20th February 2026.

TRE® (Tension and Trauma Release Exercises) is a gentle yet powerful method that supports the release of deeply held tension, stress, and trauma, while deepening your connection to the body and nervous system. Many people experience greater presence, grounding, and ease through this practice. These sessions offer a safe and nourishing space to learn and experience TRE® together.

A little background
When we experience stress or danger, the body prepares to fight or flee by activating specific muscles — particularly the psoas (hip flexor), which protects our centre of gravity. During stressful or traumatic events, the psoas contracts to keep us safe. When it doesn’t fully release afterwards, tension can remain in the body, contributing to ongoing stress, anxiety, and physical discomfort.

What is TRE®?
TRE® consists of six gentle exercises that naturally activate therapeutic tremors in the body. This process releases muscular tension and helps calm the nervous system, supporting the body to return to balance and regulation.

What to expect
The session includes an introduction to TRE®, time for questions, guided exercises, tremoring and movement, followed by a short meditation and closing circle.
